Baugo Creek County Park

Approximately 20 acres of wetlands are preserved in Baugo Bay. To the south, along Baugo Creek, hikers can enjoy wooded trails which provide habitat for birds and other wildlife. Unique plants, such as Green Dragon and Ohio Buckeye, can be found on the south side of the park. Other amenities include a disc golf course, fishing in Lake Oscela, winter innertubing hill, and paddling on Baugo Creek.

From Ash Road/County Line Road in Osceola, Indiana, turn west into the park entrance. If there is a gatekeeper, stop and let them know you’re with HCH. Follow the signs to the Oak Tree Shelter which is adjacent to the playground and restrooms.
